All types of restoration are undertaken in our workshop at 39 Andrews Street in Barberton. Restoration is largely undertaken by owners Keith and Faith themselves together with 2 other staff members who have been fully trained to assist.
Because of the nature of items handled viz Antiques and precious furniture passed on down the ages, work is slow and takes time. Upholstery is also done, cane webbing, riempies replaced, springs repaired, replacement of cane furniture binding, stripping and resealing of cane furniture as well as cushions. Dining rooms suite can be restored, lounge suites, old umbuia lounge suites, old upholstered lounge suites can be brought to life.
Office furniture, desks, glass cabinets and display cabinets can all be restored. Bedroom suites are restored/ modified to suite the current requirements. Leadwork is also done. Upholstery of headboards and pelmets are also undertaken.
We give quotes, fetch and deliver furniture and work throughout Mpumalanga Province. Insurance claims are handled; we work for Lodges, hotels, and Guesthouses as well as private individuals. No job is too large or too small !
